Larry is a very handsome tan lurcher about 3 years old with a wonderful temperment, a loving personality and the most mournful eyes you have ever seen. His owner has a complex ankle fracture and it will be several months before she is able to look after him again - so she is reluctantly rehoming him.
Larry almost never growls or barks - except at cats and foxes! - he's house-trained and understands most commands although 'stay' and 'come' present some challenges as he is easily distracted. Larry's favourite things are: running, lazing, eating and cuddles. Like most lurchers, he loves to chase things and so would not be suited to a home with cats or other small furries but he's good with other dogs and older children.
Larry was a stray, rescued from Battersea (battersea have givem permission for him to be rehomed by us). We think his original owner mistreated him or that he got into some fights whilst he was a stray, so he has a few little scars on his body and face. These are barely noticeable and despite his mistreatment he is an open, friendly dog and not at all skittish around people.
Larry is a big dog who thinks he's a lap dog. He's a wonderful companion and it's impossible not to love him. He's been micro-chipped and neutered and has had a recent rabies vaccination. |

| When we say the breed of the dog, this is NO guarantee that the dog is a pure bred
example of the breed. Or in the case of a cross, that it is the product of two pure bred dogs.
We base the breed information on what we are told by the person giving up the dog or on our own estimation. |
