hi gail, just been reading all about your rescue centre, would love to open my home to any of your dogs as a foster placement however i have 4 dogs of my own who are excellent with puppies and anything small as they live with 11 cats 2 rabbits and fish and im not to sure how they would react to anything older or larger, also as they were unwanted dogs that i took in i wouldnt want them to feel unsettled or threatened in anyway as you know once a dog has been abused or neglected it takes a long time to build their trust back and heal their mental scars, but if you should find yourself in desperate need of someone to help with litter of pups that need hand feeding every 2 hours and everything else that mums meant to do i have had experience as one of my great danes scooby was left in my garden unbeknown to me with a litter of 9 tucked comfortably away, because scooby was still a pup herself and the vet reckoned she had been interbred so puppies very small with lung problems me and my partner done everything.anyway im waffling now, bottom line if you think i can help please let me know,im home all day have large garden which backs onto woods and fields

Just a little Easter Message to say thankyou for the update on Boots. Giorgia is still missing him dreadfully but she goes walkies with a friends little terrier so that keeps her a little happy. Every time she sees a black lab on the field opposite being walked she says it's Boots, hope Boots has a marvellous Easter with his new lady companion and family. lots of love and cuddles, Cathi & children xx

I first came across Allsorts' website whem I received Poppy's appeal. I forwarded that appeal far and wide, to dog-related sites and non-dog-related places too... and now naturally everyone's asking me for an update on her.

I hope you can help with this and wish you continued success and good luck in what I know is a very difficult task.

Best regards,

Milly

Admin reply: Having rehomed Poppy with a lovely couple in Sussex, living like a queen with another lurcher, she was booked into the vets for some dental work and investigation of four lumps on her body .........and I am now very happy to report that Poppy's lumps were benign, her teeth gleaming and her future looking very rosy indeed. Thank you to everyone for supporting her.

Hey
Just rehomed Freddie and he is starting to settle in.
He is very checky but loved by all!
He is currently asleep at my feet after a long walk which really tired him out!
Thank you so much
Avie

We took Louie home today & after some initial madness he has calmed down and is now sleeping peacefully at my feet! He has had 2 good walks and has been treated to a new collar/harness & a beanbag bed. I think he will be fine here with us.
